Admission Into J.S.1 and Other Classes

We which to inform you that the sale of application forms for admission into JS1 and JS2 to SS2 2012/2013 academic session will commence on Thursday,1st March,2012.Each application form sells for N6,000.00 and is enclosed with the School's current prospectus and one Audio Visual Disc ( `VCD) which contains a documentary on the School's activities and programmes.

Entrance examination for JS1 candidates will come up on a date in May, 2012 which will be communicated to all concerned Parents in our end of Second Term newsletter.

Further all boarding students are reminded that the following items are strictly prohibited for use in the College:

• Candles
• Rechargeable lanterns (with or without radio)
• Handsets
• Rechargeable torch
• Electric pressing iron
• Portable radio cassette player or MP3
• Play station (PS 2)
• Electric immersion heater (Boiling ring)
• Electric kettle
• Perfumes
• Local soaps (Ose dudu)

The establishment of TAIDOB College marked the conjunction of a ‘need’ with an ‘opportunity’. The need viz-a-viz vision is to contribute to the improvement of academic standards and Nation building through provision of educational services to all races and tribes irrespective of religion, sex, social background and the likes.

This opportunity came in October 1994 when Dr. Yomi Jiboku, a seasoned educationist cum administrator through strong impetus occasioned by the vision, established the college with a view to making the college a model.

The college is prestigiously located within phase II of Asero Housing Estate in Abeokuta, Ogun State of Nigeria. The prestigious location with its good terrain and aesthetics, the quiet environment and the provision of modern educational infrastructural facilities coupled with crops of dedicated and experienced Tutors, serve the basis for meaningful, resourceful and productive academic pursuit at TAIDOB College.

TAIDOB College over the years has emerged and remained one of the best colleges in Nigeria through excellent academic and sport feats achieved regularly by our students.
